About the event
April you can make your own quilt kit or fleece blanket.
You can bring 6 inch strips with of fabric to combine to donated fabric to make a “Simple Gifts Quilt”.
or
Bring 1 1/3 or 1 ½ yard pieces of fleece and learn to make a no sew Fleece Blanket or learn to crochet around a fleece blanket.
Monthly meeting of local chapter of national non-profit 501-3C which makes blankets for children and donate those blankets in the community. Drop off your finished blankets, donations of fabric, fleece or yarn. See the blankets that are donated and help sew Project Linus label on each blanket before being donated. Meet the volunteers. There is always a way you can help. Stay for as long as you want or for the entire meeting.
